You're exploring a demo of The Training Group Academy, built with FayneDemo academyGet your own
Seven lessons for the person in your organisation who knows the work best and has now been asked to teach it to everybody else.
Seven lessons. One expert. A session other people can actually follow.
The best technician in the building is rarely the best teacher in the building, and for a reason worth naming: they stopped noticing the steps years ago. Handed a room and an afternoon, they explain the interesting edge cases and skip the part everybody needed.
This course takes a subject matter expert through structuring what they know into something teachable: finding the steps you have stopped seeing, writing an outcome somebody can be observed doing, building the practice into the session, handling the room, and knowing whether anybody left able to do the thing. You leave with a facilitator outline and a workbook page for one session of your own.
Technical specialists: asked to run the induction because nobody else knows the work.
Senior practitioners: teaching the same thing badly for the third year running.
New internal facilitators: with the content ready and the room still frightening.
This course is part of the academy's invite-only offering.
Access to this course is managed by the academy owner. Reach out to them if you would like to join.
